End the Span-glish Game of Charades! This course will help you accurately and efficiently communicate with native Spanish speakers with thoroughly explained grammatical concepts.
I created this course for two reasons:

To share what I have learned while working with Spanish speakers in agriculture

To show how fun learning Spanish really can be!

How is this course run?

100% online, live but recorded classes*

The lessons are recorded and available for your convenience throughout the course

By the end of the 8-week Beginners Course, students will be confidently able to:

Conjugate verbs in the present tense and present progressive

Audibly comprehend vocabulary, sentences and phrases

Have an extensive library of pertinent industry vocabulary and lingo

Understand cultural differences and how that impacts behavior in Spanish-speaking cultures
By the end of the 8-week Intermediate Course, students will be confidently able to:

Form sentences and phrases in present, past and future tenses, both verbally and in written form.

Conjugate verbs in preterite past tense, imperfect past tense, and future tense. For example:

What Exactly Will I Learn?
The Basics

Alphabet, numbers, colors, articles, subject pronouns, verbs, months, days, weather, greetings, prepositions, etc.

A new vocabulary list will be provided every week tailored specifically to the dairy, swine or poultry segments of the agriculture industry, depending on which course you select
Culture

Learn how to be more inclusive by understanding cultural concepts such as holidays, customs, regional differences, etc.

Homework and Practice Materials

Homework is assigned for practice and reinforcement of the material after each Thursday class. You can expect to invest a minimum of 1 hour per week on homework, plus the time you need to memorize the vocabulary.
Personal Instruction/Support

Students are encouraged to email the instructor with questions that arise during homework and practice. Katie is also available to schedule one-on-one time for additional help

Learning a language is not a passive activity.
Continuous and consistent effort is required. You get out of it what you put into it.
